Today is the 15th anniversary of the attacks on the United States. We do this workout in honor of the 343 police and firefighters who sacrificed their lives trying to save civilians that were trapped.

This is the first major traumatic event I remember that affected the U.S. and had a personal impact on those around me.

I was sitting in an prerequisite course for Exercise Science and was with many students that were from the city.

It is a simple gesture of remembrance and is in my opinion the least we can do to remember those who have made tremendous sacrifices for all of us.
