Wabi-sabi

It is a philosophy similar to the concept of kintsugi, the embracing of flawed imperfection. Wabi-Sabi is a view of the world centered on transience and imperfection.

The concept is derived from the Buddhist teachings of the three marks of existence. Impermanence, suffering, and emptiness.

Characteristics of wabi-Sabi aesthetic are asymmetry, roughness, simplicity, etc.
